There can be any number of reasons. There could be a trial that is over-running. An appeal date might have suddenly been arranged which cannot be vacated. He or she could be ill......People Appealing Convictions of Sexual Offences ~http://www.pacso.co.uk

I don't know LBS. What does that stand for?
Your solicitor should request an adjournment if the CCTV is not obtained before the trial, long enough before to enable them and you to view the footage. it's entirely possible that another barrister will be found who will make sure that happens.People Appealing Convictions of Sexual Offences ~http://www.pacso.co.uk

I've never heard of her. That doesn't mean she's no good of course. She might be absolutely brilliant. Have you looked online?People Appealing Convictions of Sexual Offences ~http://www.pacso.co.uk

Proof????
Maybe a break through ? I managed to de code the CCTV CDs one was of an area of the city where I've always said I wasn't there ? The other of outside a nightclub(somewhere my FA denied we ever went to)
Having sat and watched two hours (very boring lol) there I was approaching the nightclub hand in hand at 1.27am we can clearly be seen kissing and chatting she was walking perfectly fine on high heels
Upon leaving the nightclub at 2.04 am I standing outside once again clearly on CCTV and have a cigarette with her once again hugging kissing chatting laughing no sign of her being unsteady on her feet she looks more sober than I did ! This was the last place we went to and the last drink she and I had.
An hour later she's calling the police to say she was date raped (no drugs in her system proven) and unconscious and found me raping her ??? Surly this proves she was not in that state the taxi home would of taken 20mins which she flagged down ?
Thoughts as ever appreacted

hi all
16 days away now from the start of my trial even tho I'm innocent of this horrendous accusation I am absolutely bricking it !!!!! Which I'm hoping is normal ?!?
I'm seeing my new barrister tommorow for the first time since my previous one backed out
My question is is there anything I should be asking my new barrister ? Still don't feel very prepared just some advise from people that have or are facing a crown court trail
