Can anyone tell what the press do when invited to the summons we were told by our solicitor that are invited to be there scared for my husband and my fdn8ky
I doubt that the police would invite the press to a magistrate court hearing. Nothing juicy would be put that would be worth reporting on.
Feel like **** today so scared when will the bloody summons come my head feels like I'm in pain this is so cruel I be read the cps right to review can't see it qualify s she made multiple allegation s against other men
It s been 4 wks since being told husband told he was being prosecuted over a false allegation why does it so long for summons to arrive
I believe that they have 6 months to send the summons but I could be wrong!
Unfortunately nothing ever happens quickly in this crazy world of our justice system.
Hang in there, try not to panic.
It's almost impossible to forget about it even for a second but try really hard to keep a routine in your life while you wait.
If you keep all other things relatively "normal" you will find each day is a little easier.
Look for good things that are happening and don't be too hard on yourself if you feel like screaming!
This emotional rollercoaster is all part and parcel.
Trust me, we know how you're feeling and you will get through it!
Whatever happens you will come out the other side.
This is not the end and you will have a fight on your hands but you will get through!
Keep posting and we will be here to help if we can!
You're not alone by any stretch!
Big hugs

I Totally agree with yearofhell. What I also learnt is that you truly learn who are the decent supportive people. When it all comes to an end which it will the core of you will change probably for the better. You will know what and who are important to you. It is a life changing experience, just except that life will never be the same again. Please take care of yourself, take some time to do things that you enjoy that can take your mind off it all. I know that it is easier said than done but that is the only way at the moment. I found the teachings of Ajahn Brahm, a monk on YT so comforting. Found him by such coincidence. Never been interested by buddhism before. Get through the first fifteen minutes. The man is wise and very funny. Good luck
My husband was told there was nfa and 6 months later told he was being prosecuted we thought it was over !this is someone be who has multiple allergations at the same !
We don't know what action has been taken with the other men it was however plastered all over social media
[I have moved this post, as well as your post #49, to this main thread as it is much easier for members who are offering support if all your posts are together in one place....please do continue to post in this thread rather than starting new ones....unless of course the subject is unrelated to the accusation against your husband!]

There is no evidence the case has been reviewed we were told by policeman nothing had changed same information as the accuser had in the first place , he just lodged with the family the girl had a serious crush on him didn't like his girlfriend s and probably resented me coz he left to live with me that's bascily it I feel that the accuser must of had a troubled childhood she has also made aĺlergations against her ex partner and somebody else all at the same time as my husband sorry I looking for answer s that cannot be found just feel so scared
He's accussed of unlawful sex with a minor this is historical it simply didn't happen as I explained earlier on in this thread waiting for summons now can't understand how the right to review process applied neither does our solicitor she's mades multiple against others ex husband and we think step brother
Please do try not to panic at this early stage. If you want to be proactive, if you can, talk to the people she has previously accused where it's been NFAd or a jury has found them NG, get them to contact your solicitor.
While in theory without new evidence or information the weakness in the evidence that lead to the first NFA should lead to a second NFA, exercising the victim's right to review adds a political pressure to charge when it should be purely evidential.
You have only the police's word that there is no new evidence or that she has not added to or changed her story and I wouldn't trust plod as far as I could throw them.
As far as waiting for the summons to arrive, it does seem to be taking a long time. You could perhaps contact the OIC and ask them when to expect it.
