Hello my name is Laurence Mozafai, I am a student Journalist based in Staffordshire.
I am currently compiling my dissertation about men who have been falsely accused of rape and how it has affected their lives since.
I want to speak to speak to a man who has been falsely accused and hopefully the woman who accused him.
In this case the woman would have to have been convicted for perjury or been convicted for the false accusation.
I have seen some similar posts by other Journalists on the forum and I can assure all users that my work would be approached with the utmost discretion and sensitivity.
My aim is to help other men who have been falsely accused. By talking about the affects it had on them i.e loosing their job, wife, kids, respect in the community etc.
The case that exemplifies this issue is Peter Bacon, from Canterbury who was falsely accused and cleared: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/mobile/uk/8338554.stm
He has now moved to Malaysia to start a new life with a new identity. His accuser did not get convicted but but his case and the trauma he went through, is what inspired me to discuss the issue in order to help others.
I have written for a host of publications including www.staffs.ac.uk/staffslive where I am currently working in an editorial role.
I would be submitting the stories as a freelance and am currently looking at men's magazines, Policing magazines or local newspapers to run the stories.
If you are interested or could offer me any help, please contact me via email at: laurencemozafari@hotmail.com or on 07934100311
Many thanks
Laurence
