Here is naother story of a man who was actually convicted of rape but won his appeal when the 'unedited' version of FB messages came to light. I wonder if the FB edited them or was she advised by the police. She should be prosecuted. She said she edited the messages to save disk space which is rubbish as modern storage devices could hold millions of pages of text.

It is clear she is guilty of perverting the course of justice as she admitted to editing the text before giving them to the police,. I however question the quality of the defence legal team as unless the innocent guy deleted the conversation then he would have had a copy of the conversation himself, so he should have been able to provide the complete messages himself and therefore should not have been convicted.
