Absolutely not a problem Franticwithworry, please don't apologise.
I have just spent an hour of my life searching daftmoo for the "many good results" and the recommendations referred to by Lucky...
There were 21 threads in the search and only this one was not posted by lucky him/herself. There are exactly 4 posts from "grapefruit" all of them praising this solicitor. This is not to say for sure that the poster is not genuine but I have to compare it with Lucky's posting history and take it with a pinch of salt, also bearing in mind some previous laughably untrustworthy positive "reviews" of some notoriously bad solicitors.
I do not wish to be unfair to Mr Anwar who may be a fine solicitor but if this is the case and he is reading this he would do well to ask Lucky to stop discrediting him here by association.
Thank you too, Peter1975. Your searching skills are clearly much better than mine. :-)
Seeing as all the posts bar one come from Lucky, I'll be guided by the majority opinion, but only say that these are old threads that may or may not be read by new people and there is lots of newer information that overrides it, together with lots of posts calling the integrity of the recommendation into question. Now that Peter has put up a map of the country with details of recommended solicitors and their locations, I think most people are likely to look to that and not spend time trawling through the site for other posts. they will likely fade into the background unnoticed.
That said it's easy enough to delete/hide the threads that are a worry to those with most experience. I don't feel that I've been here long enough to make a unilateral decision, so as I said, just tell me what to do to which threads/posts and I'll do it. I'm sorry if it seems that I'm passing the buck. I don't mean it that way.

Yes I think you are right Franticwithworry and old posts are not a big problem but as I said elsewhere DM is largely read and not participated in and it is those lurkers that may stumble across those posts that is my concern. Likewise, the map is more likely to be used by those that do not or will not post so it is important to offer some disclaimer and be careful about who "we" recommend.
I will perhaps at some point edit the map into single and multiple recommendations and see if I can write a disclaimer and some guidance onto the map itself.
