  • camden ripper rape victim

(Posted on old forum on Friday, May 07, 2004)

On the 12/5/04 at Legal Office in London one of living rape victim of Tony Hardy, the Known Camden Ripper. Will be having to face a legal aid funding appeal hearing, in her bid for justice.

During 2003 she helped the police with info to help them bring charges of murder against hardy. She also was used by the CPS with her witness police evidence leading up to the day of the murder trail last Nov 03. Her evidence was to be used at the trial where details of how hardy attacked her, tried to kill her and raped her. Due to the fact on the day of the trail, he changed his plea to guilty on 3 accounts of murder, she was not called upon. So she never had her chance to tell what happened to her. She was lead to believe by the CPS senior case officer on the murder case for 7 months that hardy would be charged with rape.

In Dec 03 she was told in the end no charges would be brought by the CPS against hardy. So let alone being used by the very people that are meant to protect the public, she is used by them, then dropped by them.

Yet since then been trying to over turn their decision of the CPS and yet the legal aid funding committee does not view her case is not in the wider public interest.

This rape victim took a lot to come forward to the police in the 1st place to help them. Its no wonder rape victims do not always come forward to report such crimes if this case is any thing to go by.

Her human rights of right to life have not been taken into account in anyway and trying to find a lawyer that will help her get justice in the courts is not easy.
If any one knows of a good human rights lawyer, to help her in her case, then get in touch by email.

If anyone reading this post would like to support her legal aid bid case on the wed 12/5/04 then call 0704 405 4903 for details of the launch of a petition for justice on this day. Keep up the good work on this site. All the best.

I think that this is outrageous! and makes me very angry, a lot needs to done about the way rape victims are treated, this case is disgusting. I do not know a lawyer but please pass on my sincere healing thoughts and tell this women that she is not alone, if there is any other way of helping the please let me know for example the best way to bring shame to people who do wrong to others is by exposure, you could organise a petition and send it off to your local MP. I would be happy to sign it and I?m sure that local papers would be happy to help you get the petition out there.
    Good luck.

I would like to draw your notice to the on going legal aid injustice to the living victim of the Camden ripper. Who tried to kill her and he raped her and now a petition is to be launched and her MP is to call on the House Of Commons for an early day motion.

Her case for refusal of legal aid to help fund her case against the CPS in not bringing forth charges to the Camden Ripper. She refused his demands and hence the attack.

Due to the fact she is linked to this case the press are classing her as a call girl, which is not the case. Unless she is willing to go public with her real name the press will not support her campaign and petition for justice.

Why should she have to just to highlight her case, so now her case is being referred to the legal aid head office on the 15/6/04. Where she will stage a protest outside the head office that day and anyone who to is trying to get justice for their case or supporters for rape victims are welcome to come and get involved.

We are now looking at a new angle on her case under the human rights act, right to life. By the CPS code which has not been reviewed for 50yrs and in light of the human rights act , we hope to change the code, which will be a test case and the 1st in UK to do so.
If any one wishes to come on board on a joint legal action of right to life. Then post me a message on this board.

When so many people abuse the legal system and its acts like a post code justice. The law needs to change, what do you think?

Luck at least for living victim of camden ripper!

The women is meeting with a top Human Rights QC who is acting for free to take her case against the CPS for not charging Tony Hardy for attempted murder and rape. This may well be a test case in law and may bring about changes in the CPS code of Crown Proescuters.

18 mths is a long time to get this chance to look at the mismanagement of the CPS in her case.

Any persons willing to support this womens case for justice go to www.freewebs.com/voiceofsexworker , yet must stress the women is not a sex worker.
