The CPS now spend 50% of Court time on Sex Crime cases with 25% being no evidence trials.

It is like watching pigs at a troughs with judges sitting an extra 7500 days in court during a supposed time of austerity and public spending cuts.

Also, reported was the number of rapes reported has jumped to 33,500 an increase of 39% on the previous year.

However, it still is unknown what the actual conviction rape rate was for 2015, but the CPS have dropped many no evidence cases just before the trail is due to start.

So I am assuming the actual rape conviction rate will be below last years 57%, which was the lowest rate ever.

One told The Times: 'About half of these are allegations of historical sex offences.

Most historic rape cases have no medical evidence, witnesses or CCTV.

In fact, it is 50% of sex crimes go to court without any evidence.

Even the Governments own guidelines say that the CPS should only prosecute where there is a strong case of the accused be found guilty and weak cases should be dropped such as no evidence trails.
