I don't think the gentleman concerned is a member of this forum but he was recently accused of a sexual assault.
As we all know, this can usually involve months of waiting and multiple rebails before a CPS decision, however in this fortunate man's case the process took only a week between arrest and being told no charges would be brought.
An article in my local paper (so sorry, no link) stated the woman concerned had been re-interviewed and had admitted fabricating the story.
Am I being cynical in assuming that in view of the accused's status she may have been questioned a little more robustly rather than the usual practice of rolling out the metaphorical red carpet and the chorus of why would a woman say such a thing if it weren't true.
And where are the media statements from all the usual suspects from WAR and similar organisations who are normally so vocal when this subject comes up.....oh, I see, it's ok if it's the woman who is guilty.

Hopefully he will push for his deserved revenge, the resultant publicity will do more than any of our individual voices.
In the meantime anyone anxiously waiting for a CPS decision could do worse than mention to the OIC how quickly this one was resolved
