  • Rape self-help

I've recently read one or two books on healing after being raped, and I've written a self-help thing based on them. See what you thihnk.

The first bit's about various emotions like fear of going out, the second bit's about flashbacks and nightmares, and a relaxation exercise, the third bit's about personality types of abusers and do's and dont's for friends and partners, and the fourth bit's about making life more comfortable.

See what you think of it. If you don't like it, tell me why, and I'll think about what to do to improve it. But I hope it'll be helpful: Healing from the Trauma of Rape.
My self-help articles on problems ranging from depression and phobias to marriage difficulties, to looking after children and teenagers, to addictions and destructive behaviours like anorexia, to bullying, to losing weight, to debating skills: http://broadcaster.org.uk/self-help
And my article: How to Avoid Falling for Many False Claims or Fears of the Supernatural
