Hi Emma,
This forum has some very supportive contributors, but, if you need to talk, may I suggest an msn group called abcvictimsbreakfree: http://groups.msn.com/abcvictimsbreakfree/
You'll need to have an msn login - passport or .net or similar.
It's run by Snoopyseed (Another user on this forum). It's a moderated group, so you'll need to request access, but that's just to keep out spammers etc. She's a lovely lady and very helpful, and the group holds regular online chat sessions in the online chat room. It sounds like that is what you are looking for.
I hope you find what you need.
All the best!

Hi Emma,
I've emailed snoopy the manager of the website and i'm sure she'll contact you. I'm part of that group! It's very supportive and people are always ready to listen. You don't have to post, reading other peoples post can often help.
Hope to hear from you in the other forum.

Emma,
Feel free to talk about your feelings here if you want.
If things begin to gradually improve in your life, what will be the first signs you notice that will let you know things are improving?
And then if they begin to improve some more, how will they be different from the way they are now? What will you have done to make that difference?
How have you managed to cope so far? Tell us what you've done to stop things getting as bad as they could possibly be. Even if you don't think you've done that well so far, what good qualities do you have that are enabling you to come through this?
Are there any days or times of day when you don't feel quite so bad? If so, what are you doing at those times that makes the difference?
When people try to get onto that abcvictimsbreakfree site at first, I think they get re-routed to a general MSN page that says they have to create an MSN passport so they can sign into groups, and when they've done that, I think they might have to put the link in again. I'm not quite sure about that, but I think that's how it works. My self-help articles on problems ranging from depression and phobias to marriage difficulties, to looking after children and teenagers, to addictions and destructive behaviours like anorexia, to bullying, to losing weight, to debating skills: http://broadcaster.org.uk/self-help
