Hi All,
The following url refers -
https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidanc...licy-statement
I have extracted the relevant sentence -
The Decision to Prosecute
"When deciding whether to prosecute a rape allegation, the two stage Full Code Test must be satisfied in exactly the same way as for allegations not involving rape. In terms of the evidence, there must be a realistic prospect of conviction."
This should end the last 10 years of the Police/CPS believing every rape allegation without evidence and putting many men through hell to be found not guilty.
I believe the Police/CPS should pay substantial compensation to all those they falsely charged with rape and who were later acquitted
