Hi all,
Some may remember me I posted a lot last year when my husband was convicted of numerous sexual offences. I stuck by him through his trial with his as good as useless defence team. Only after a tragedy like this happens that you realise how important getting the right defence team in place is crucial. Anyway my husband was convicted and sentenced to 24 years (to serve 10) We have a 4 year old and a baby born whilst he was on remand who is now 16 months old. I am sticking by him because I know my husband and I know he is innocent I have good days and bad days but life does go on it has to with 2 young children. Anyway there is always hope and now we have changed solicitors to a compnay specialising in historic sexual offences and awaiting an appeal hearing. He actually sued his old solicitors from inside prison and won! Anyway just to mention that altho life has a habit of carrying on regardless I will always be there for my husband and he knows that. In my opinion the best thi ng that anyone can do in this situation is keep believing and protraying that sense of hope to the person inside prison I know it gives my hubby hope. What wil never change is my daughters love for her Daddy my son doesnt really know him but my daughters face lights up when she visits him after all none of this is her fault yet we are the silent victims.
