My son who is in his late 30's has been falsley accused of rape of her neice, then a minor, by his ex partner over a 3 year period. She will stoop to any lengths to cause maximum damage in a bid to get him out of her life, but this is the worst we can imagine. My son and his ex have two son's and 50% each custody of the children, so contact was alternate days and weekends, until now - she has managed to get a court hearing for sole custody next week. This accusation is a bolt from nowhere. My son has been arrested, but not charged will hear if his case will go to court by mid-june. He is in a terrible emotional state, deprived of his children and with this 'rape' case hanging over him for six weeks waiting to hear. His ex has slandered him everywhere possible and as we all know mud sticks. Can anyone help with advice. I understand my son has consulted a solicitor - not sure if the solicitor specialises in such cases. Any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like a case that I got into the court of Appeal (waiting for a date). This involves a similar scenario . You will need to make sure he gets copies of all of the family court stuff to see if there are and inconsistencies.
