Thanks RFLH, what's the best way to go about finding a decent solicitor to talk to? I"ve never been in trouble with the police before and don't have any experience with this kind of thing...

If you do get charged say nothing until you've spoken to a specialist solicitor.
My first legal aid solicitor was useless.The second time they charged me I got one who just told me to remain silent.
