I was on a night out with a male friend. We were very drunk and I met a girl in a bar. This girl and I left together and had sex outside later that night. Now she has turned to the police and is wrongly accusing me of rapeing her. I would never dream of doing such a thing, I would never do anything without consent.

My friend knew I left with this girl and sent me a text message saying "If I loose the girl, I can go back to his place". The police dont know about this message yet.

The police have taken a photo of a scratch on my back and I am worried this could be wrongly used against me as sign of struggle. Which did not happen as I never forced her.

The police have now charged me. I am scared of being convicted for a crime I would never commit. This fear is effecting my life, and tearing me apart inside.

Yes we did have sex, but this is a case about consent, its her word against mine.

This happened in Scotland. I know they have different laws about this in Scotland to do with evidence. Can anyone give me advice or hope?
