Looking for advice,have not seen this situation in any other threads.
I was arrested mid December after my sister accused me of rape going back to her childhood....20+ years and more.... She has a long history of mental illness and self harm and has accused at least 3 people before that i know of,apparantly she is using the alledged rape as a reason for her self harm and has been telling her counseller this.
I was asked to visit the police station at a pre arranged date when i was questioned,i did't ask for a solicitor to be present as i thought being innocent i did't need one.They told me they had a duvet of hers that was present when she said i last visited her flat in November and i said i would volunteer my DNA as i had't seen her at all that month.
Have to say that was the worst day of my life...being put in a cell while they waited for a doctor to arrive.Anyway i gave my samples and was then bailed to return in late Feb but was rung by the police the day before to say they were still awaiting the DNA results and the day was put back to early April and again the day before i was due back i was rung by the police to say there was no need to go back to the police station as there would be no further action which was a big relief obviously.
But now this week i was served with a injunction against me without any knowlege to stop me going near her or her flat which is not a problem as i never want to see her or speak to her again ever.What is bothering me is my name is getting dragged through the county court,solictors etc when i am totally innocent and have never been in trouble with the law before in my life not to mention the fear that she could make something again with this injunction hanging over me.
Is there anything i can do to defend myself either through a solicitor or going to the police and making a complaint against her.My mum and dad are behind me and believe me but won't confront her because they are scared of what she might do to herself which i understand but i do feel they could have stopped things getting this far a long time ago.
