Hello everyone a week ago I was arrested and questioned by police , I meet a guy online and he come and meet me at the hotel I gave him oral sex and then he call the police accused me of misleading him saying he thought I was a girl , on my online account it clearly say I am a TV meaning trans , now I was arrested for sexual assault without consent, because he say he only consent because he thought I was a girl , for days now I have not eat or sleep , I am constantly thinking of ending my life , I am just imagining the embarrassment my family will go through when it go to court , I am now release under investigation,

Try not to worry. If it is clear on your profile than you are trans it is difficult to see how this is deception on your behalf.

As always, details of events can be important so I urge you to make a concise and honest account of everything while they are still fresh in your mind.

You do not mention if you had the duty solicitor when questioned but they should be pushing for the police to record this as "no crime" - leaving your record clear.

This is most likely not getting to court. Work with your solicitors. Keep cool.

Thank for your advice Peter , I am currently in hospital now I have taken a overdose, to your question yes I did have a duty solicitor but I now change to a solicitor which is not legal aid , I am so worried for my family especially when it go court and I am in the newspaper, it’s very hard to deal with , my future is on hold

Like I said, this is unlikely to get to court and you have a good case even if it does. The truth is a powerful tool to have at your disposal.

Please try to keep things in perspective, there is no reason to believe this won't work out and become a distant memory

Talk to the Samaritans if you feel like harming yourself in the future or contact a charity such as MIND to arrange some counselling.
