Hay. I am french. Sorry for my english. my partner was sentenced in december 2017 of 12 years for sexual assault on a kid. He is innocent. His solicitor was so bad. And my partner was sick, unable to prepar his defense. I try to find another solicitor but its so hard. Some advice....please. I am devasted .i just give birth.

Firstly well done for standing by your partner and supporting him, this must be a great comfort to him....
To help members offer relevant advice was your partner tried and sentenced in an English court (i.e. as opposed to say, a Scottish or French one)
Secondly, if it was in an English court, after the guilty verdict, did his barrister offer any advice on mounting an appeal against the verdict?
