Hi
I have found the name of the prosecutor working on my case. I e-mailed them sometime ago and they answered my query but since then they have declined to answer my questions and stated that all questions should got via my solicitor. The thing is that I am a tax paying citizen and the prosecutor is a public servant, so they should answer reasonable questions such as charge decision timescale extra.
I would love to be able to get my solicitor to ask them questions but they have been hard to get hold off after Christmas and New Year. I was wondering what people think if a I take a case of discrimination against the PPS and the prosecutor as if they say that they will only answer questions sent via my solicitor. They are forcing me to spend money I don't have and therefore limiting my access to justice.
I am not sure the prosecutor is used to the accused contacting them directly and doesn't know what to do. As Sherlock Holmes used to say 'The game is afoot' but as Motty said 'its a funny old game'.
