I had just phoned my solicitor on Tuesday to discuss my case and was waiting for them to call back when a hour later the police again knocked at my door. I thought it was so they could arrested and charge me for my case. Ii was actually happy about it, as the investigating officer was there. Iit turned out it wasn't. It appears that a second FA has accused me off one incident of rape during a relationship 6-sometime in 2015-2016. Ii was very very angry and let them know.
They arrested me and took me to the local police station. They took my phone, computer, and old phone and old mp3 player. They questioned me about the second case which is weaker than the first. Tthey asked me for the password for my phone and pc but i declined to give it straight away as it held evidence of my innocence in the first case. I mean evidence of repeated contact from the FA including requests of a sexual nature made by my FA well not requests but demands. Anyway just lets say that there was enought to give any right thinking more than reasonable doubt.
Wwell the second cae if from a FAa who i meet on a dating site, we did the usual stuff went for walks in the forest, nights out in town and I stayed over her place which sharewith her mum, daughter and grandmother. This FA says that i held her down and raped her on an unknown date. Sshe has a history of mental health issues, drugs misuse and sexual issues. Sshe is known to the police in the town where she is from for many years.
Wwhen Ii was question Ii was very angry because this should have been an interview under caution rather than an arrest. Tthe case is far weaker than the first and I could discredit her within seconds. From the police interview questions it appesr that they somehow think that I may have targeted weomen with mental health issues as but of my FA's had them, as if Ii was some type of pervert. The fact is that that being a mental health professional ignoring someone because they had mental health issues would be reenforcing stigma which is something i don't do.
The relationship with the second FAa end because she wanted to date other guys as well as me, so I said no and moved on. I got drunk a day or too later and tried to phone her but she ignored me and went to the police saying Ii was harassing her. They phone me up and told me not to contact her, the police officer had a tone saying we knoew you were well rid of her. Sso anyway Ii did ignore her apart from sending a nice Christmas card that year.
either Ii am the unluckiest guy in the world to have a second FAa like this or there is a connection between the first and second FAa. The first FA knew the name of the second FA as I had shown her a picture of her and told her about her 6 months before we started dating. So it is possible that the first FA contacted the second FA through social media or because they both have mental health issues that they that the grape vine has connected them both. There is also the possiblity that the police who had my phone from the first case interviewed the second FA as part of the first case.
I asked the police during my arrest interview on Tuesday did they or their representatives contac or interview the second FA or speak to anyone connected to her in anyway during the investigation of my first case. They refused to answer saying that they are interviewing me not me them. I repeated it a few times. Well anyway if there is contact from FA to FA or police to second FA I am going to find it and take legal action.
I phoned the QIC of my first case and asked was there any contact but she was not there. I shall be ringing her again until I get an offical answer. I suspect that the police are egar to stop me as I have been going to my local MAL's about the broken justice syste but what they have in fact done is force me to reveal evidence of my innocence which harms my first FA. I did not want to harm her and was hoping my first case would wither on the vine. The second case its far far far weaker than the first for various reasonad if it was stand alone it be a slam dunk for me. So unfortunately I cannot let the first case end off its own accord I can end it right now.
All my life I have believed that I will stand against and army if I think something was unjust so instead of scaring me the polcie/pps have just made me more dtermined to take action.
OK side abr to this. both FA's made accusations when speaking to mental health professionals/social services prior to speaking to the police. I know what they said to the police is protected but is what they said to the mental health professionals/social services protected? Can i sue them for libel/slander for what they said speaking to mental health professionals/social services?
