My husband was unanimously found not guilty today on 4 counts including rape and indecent assault. Without this forum quite simply, I am not sure my husband would be safely tucked up in bed in our house tonight. We so nearly went with a solicitor that was not a specialist in this area. But due to the advice on this forum we went with Mark Newby (Quality Solicitors, Doncaster). Our solicitor was Hollie Alcock and our Barrister was the superb Brigid Baillie, all on legal aid.
We will never be able to thank them enough. Thanks to EVERYONE on this forum who over the last 12 months of hell has helped. Particular mention to Mr B, Rightsfighter and Peter1975. And one lady who I won't be name but was an absolute godsend to us, and quite simply would not be here if it wasn't for her. She knows who she is.
I'm going to take a bit of a break but then will be back to help out particularly with historical allegations where I can. For those who are still in varying stages of thsi nightmare, it will end, you will get the truth out there, just be strong, take one day at a time and no matter what is thrown at you, please fight back. It may feel hopeless at times, but with the right team you will get through it xx
