Not overly convinced on this tbh, ive been through so much and more but why wouod a teaching assistant offer extra lessons i had one this was never an option, the jury took hours and hours they thought about it they didn't just see a stressed out kid its in the media and just doesn't add up. I would never disagree with someone falsly accused but i would also not like to see a childa life ruined.

Actually, teaching assistants are asked to give children short periods of one-to-one if they are having difficulty with something, and of course we don't know the whole story, either from the accused's point of view or the juries - we weren't there.

The point here is that a family is broken-hearted and a family member needs support. Whoever things worked out, whether the jury got it wrong or the accused protested their innocence when they are guilty, harvsmum is heartbroken and needs support, at least until the shock if a conviction that she wasn't expecting subsides.

It must be devastating and deserves kind thoughts.

Unless you personally know something damning about this specific case, it really is not fair to cast judgment on this poor mum and her son.

I don't know anything about teaching assistants or whether they can offer one to one - I have no idea. It seems that some who know better than I have replied to you, saying that this can and does happen.

Because a jury comes to a guilty verdict does not make the defendant factually guilty.

Similarly, if a jury comes to Not Guilty verdicts, that does not mean that the defendant is factually innocent.
