Hi i need advice im sitting here at home alone and in the dark affraid of what is coming i have been falsley accused of a a crime that i am completely innocent of a crime that dosnt even bare thinking about at the moment it is hust an accusation and the police have been called i havnt been arrested charged or even questioned its been 5 days now and i havnt heard a thing im so anxious to here some news. Can anyone advise as to what could happening because ita petrifying me to think that the police could just show up at a moemnts notice and take me away especially when i havnt done what i being accused of

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear of yet more false allegations but you will get support and advice here.

If the police have been called it is reasonable to assume that you can expect the dreaded knock on the door, depending on the nature of the allegations you will either be arrested and have your computers/phones seized or you will be invited for a voluntary interview under caution. As it has been 5 days you could perhaps expect the latter but I can't guarantee it. It is vital that you have a good solicitor present when the time comes. You are entitled to free legal advice at the police station.

Hi richard again the crime i am accused of and whole heartedly can tell you im also innocent of is violating a child the very thought of someone actually doing this makes me feel violently sick.
The fact that im being accused of such a horrendous crime is to much to think about. Like i said previously it has bow been 5 days since i was accused by the father and had my life threatend and ive heard nothing from the police ive had 2 phone calls both from an aunty of the girl saying you kno what she is like its probably for attention as hdr dad has a new gf and is focusing all his attention on her kids which i might add is something he did alot of woth his last gf. I dated this girls other auntie for 5 years and in that time the ammount of help and support we have given is overwhelming which is making what im being accused of even more horrowing. Ive been advised on here to get a solicitor asap only problem is i have zero capital and any monry i do have is no where near wbat i would beed to hire a good one what are my options ? Also i have a holiday to turkey coming up on monday ive not been charged ive not been questioned ive not been arrested hell i havnt even had a phone call from the police what does that say to you guys out there ? I want to know am i safe to still go away on this holiday will i get in to trouble for going ive already informed the police of my travel plans and it has been notied any and all comments will be appreciated thanks guys

It may be worth installing a free call recorder on your phone and recording any subsequent calls from the aunt that seems to be on your side. Attention seeking is a common reason behind many false allegations so you are not alone.

You will be entitled to free advice at the police station if you are questioned. It won't cost you anything. Ask for the duty solicitor or tell us roughly where you are and we can perhaps recommend a solicitor you can call when you need them.

Unless you hear otherwise then by all means go on your holiday. You won't get into trouble. If the police contact you before monday tell them you have a holiday booked.

I really dont know where go turn guys so allegations have been made its now the 6th day i havnt heard a peep from the police no questions no phone calls no knocks on the door absolutley nothing is there a chance that its been nfa'd i dont want to count my chickens to soon but its ridiculous being left in limbo over such horrendously disgusting lies is tearing me up

Anyway, just to clarify - you do not have to pay for a solicitor to attend a police interview, unless it's a private client solicitor who is not on the duty roster.

So i have a letter here from a group called beacon with a telephone number saying to call if i would lile more infomation on the case etc etc how often should i call this number its from the hertfordshire constabulary should i call at all would it make me seem guilty if i ring to much or to little im so confused

That is a victim support service. What have you been a victim of ? You said that the police haven't been in touch....

I doubt it would be NFAd if you've not been interviewed. As I said in my email, it could be that they have not made a complaint against you to the police. It could be just threats / bluff and bluster

In your first post you say the police have been called. Who called them?

Phone call

So i just had a phone call from the police tbey explained it is being investigated at the end where the alledged offence took place tbey daid if i want any detsils on to call them i said no i will wait untill i get called in for interview if that happens that is im really hoping it dosnt but im sure cases like this always progress even if the accused is innocent of what he is being accused of

Well heres hoping i dont get called in because i know for a FACT there is zero evidence to back up these disgusting allegations. Ill keep ypu all posted. One thing that is concerning me though is im due to fly to another country and even though ive been told flying abroad isnt a problem as i havnt been arrested im just a little concerend i will recieve the dreaded phone call when im away if that happens what do i do thats what is bothering me as i wont be back in the uk untill the 3rd of july

You simply explain that you are on holiday and tell them when you will be back. You won't have to come back early.

Try to put this to the back of your mind and and enjoy your break.
