Been charged on friday... feel sick how will it end

Hi all iv had it confirmed that i will be charged on friday for rape of an underage.

I dont understand how its gone this far. First its supposedly happened 3 years ago but she cant remember the date. Her mum then supposedly knew about it but waited 2 years to report it. As an additional shes a family memeber whos mum and aunties accussed my dad 16 years ago of the same thing but was found out to ve lying when it went to court as he got a phone call recording of them admitting theyd made it up.

I dont know if any of this can help me but im so scared. Now i have a long wait to a trail date and a trail to go through from what i know it goes on who the jury believe and shes managed to lie for the past 10 months so i hold up no hope.

What can i do now? What does people advise to help my case?

You need to get a solicitor ASAP.

Where roughly will the trial be held?

In the meantime, you can have every hope that you will be found NG. Believe it or not, juries acquit more often than not and you can increase your odds with good preparation. It's always a good idea to snoop on social media and take screenshots of anything the liars post that might undermine whatever they have been saying. Start a timeline of your relationship with the liar and detail any fall outs/arguments or dishonest behaviour that you can recall.

I don't think the past lies of the FA's mother/aunts will be admissible unless they were convicted of lying and this can be called as bad character if they are testifying against you. Check this with your solicitor.

I was teying from the minute i heard yesterday but i rang them all and they said is get a call back but never but thats on my to do list today.

It will be in hull if anyone knows of any solicitors that take legal aid cases in that area.

Yes i say last night and wrote down anything i could think off that may be of use and did rememver that the last time i had seen her we had a disagreement as i told her some hometruths on her family that werent too nice. And i know that one of her family memebers did use facebook before it was reported to say she couldnt be trusted and was aliar so hoping to find that just having trouble been able to get on to there profiles on facebook as not friends with them but thinking of ways.

Thanks for the advice i will definetley be keeping in touch, no the shock and tears have come i realise i have to be focused and try my best to stay positive during it.
