  • Does life ever get back to normal after been found not guilty? :(

Can someone help us regarding the social services please?

My partner was falsely accused of rape by his sick and twisted daughter in 2014 he went on trial this week and was found not guilty on all counts but now the social services are now involved because we have just had a new born baby and i have also got children to a previous partner.

They are now saying he is not allowed to see our baby with out been supervised which is totally distroying him, all we want to be is a happy family and get on with our lives and try to forget everything and move on but now all this.

Has anyone else been through this please and what happened in your situations?

So desprate for any help and advise :-( x

Have SS given any indication of how long it will last? Or the reasons for their involvement?

I believe that the child has rights to a family life (or similar) so you could try instructing a solicitor on the child's behalf.

Roughly where in the UK are you? I ask as I might be able to find a good solicitor for you.

She is very caring based in London. People often say that it is best to go with a family law solicitor out of the area to avoid conflicts with their council work, so this one fits perfectly.

Ring and explain that you have been referred via a support group and that your main concern is that the child will lose out. You need to remember that the adult has no "rights" as such, and that this is about the child.

Good luck! Let me know how it goes!

You can still email her and somebody in the office should still pick it up. If they don't then hopefully she will when she gets back, and played catch-up.

You could also also call back and ask to speak to whoever is dealing with her cases while she's away and if you don't get a reason you could ask to speak to her supervisor. If you do all that and don't get a reasonable response, then when you talk to a Family Lawyer you can say you've done your best to get an answer. You won't get sent away to try to make contact yourself first. You shouldn't have to wait 2 weeks for a response even if the SW is on leave. The world doesn't stop for her holiday.

I think the OP is talking about the family law solicitor I put her onto, not SS
