Has anyone on here had any experience with Mark Newby from quality solicitors Jordan's in Doncaster? Partner considering using him or Chris saltrese, Mark is closer to where we live.

is this with Legal Aid? Mark is the best trial solicitor on LA in the north. Chris doesn't do LA

I don't think he will qualify for legal aid as works full time and has savings from a property sale. Not really sure criteria I will have to look in to it. Yes knew would be paying Chris privately

He may qualify for legal aid but would have to pay "contributions". If he is not eligible for LA at all then I would of course recommend Chris Saltrese solicitors. 01704 535 512

Hi - I've spoke to Mark Newby who was very nice and has a good reputation.

However, we went with Chris Saltrese - who was fantastic.

Location did not seem to be an issue for Chris and the barrister. We do not live near his office. We only had to travel there on only one occasion.

Perhaps - it would be a good idea to speak to Mark Newby about your case and then you may 'get a feel' who you want to use.

Chris is fab! He usually uses Tania Griffiths QC who is equally fab and both are really understanding of the effects of FAs so don't mind offering sympathetic ear as well. They really do work hard as a team.

Yes he's spoken to Chris a while ago now for some information and said he got a good vibe from him, how he was talking to him etc. Hasn't spoken with mark newby yet as has been away or something but has spoken with a woman who works with him. Think he is swayed more to Chris and luckily has the finances available to fund defence if it is required. Still hasn't been interviewed yet.
