For anybody trying to forget or take their minds of a false allegation or if you are a victim of child abuse yourself you may want to avoid Hollyoaks over the next week or so.

Its covering a child sex abuse trial, it's not false allegation but if you have or are going to be in the future this may be distressing to see a sex abuse trial. Starting with the victim preparing for the trial on tonights first look and going in to the end of next week.

What's the betting they will not have done their research and there will be mistakes galore in the police "investigation", evidence allowed and procedures at trial........

Already have police woman charged him on the spot, no CPS, she didn't even consult a superior he said something incriminating so she charged.

And people watching this and considering making FAs on the back of it will believe this. The storyline will be interesting as it will no doubt pop up in incoming cases very soon....

I don't watch it. When does this story start? I'll need to begin recording the episodes......

6.30pm Channel 4 is the victim preparing for trial she is in a secret relationship with her abuser so covers that too.

Then first look is 7pm on E4 which will be the first day of the trial.

Who on earth is that woman in hospital watching it on her laptop? That just wouldn't happen. It's not like she is in the process of giving evidence via video link......

And why isn't the complainant behind a curtain at the very least - special measures? And why is she holding her hand up while affirming? I think that's an Americanism and not something that happens in the UK

Now some bad character of the complainant without legal argument..... ye gods I do wish they would research how things happen.....
