  • Interesting Article!

    Hi Guys,

Thought I would share - perhaps this will send a signal in the right direction (s) i.e. maybe the CPS and police force (s) will need to take note!

Appalling and clearly shows the Police have so much faith in so called alleged victims that they fail to do their jobs properly which had been highlighted in this case. He should be fired for his shortcomings and distress caused to the four men.

Wonder how often this happens, the DC is still working, surely there should be at least a disciplinary.

Hope things went well for your son last week

No mention of any action being taken against her. Clearly she was a dubious witness in the past. Once the defence found the messages there was no case because her messages contradicted her own story. Doesn't that make her a liar and guilty of wasting police time.

The article talks of the financial cost to the young men, it makes little mention of the emotional agony for them and their families. What about the financial cost to the state pursuing this case. How about the state looking to recoup its costs from her and the officers involved in the case *

They should never have been charged. Terrifying that evidence is hidden in this day and age.

        * I know it will never happen but it makes me feel better to dream. I hope one day people will see the injustice which is the Justice System in this country. Perhaps in 27 years time people will recognise many of these cases as the witch hunts they are, as Hillsborough is now seen as a huge cover up.

          Yes I totally agree!

Thank you so much for remembering 'soanxious' - well it was all a total farce really - when he arrived at the police station at the appointed time after waiting for an hour and a half (in terror!) no-one turned up. Eventually the duty officer looked on the system and found no record, so now he is waiting to hear from the OIC. The guy he spoke to mentioned that it may be NFA but after reading on here have suggested to him that we need to keep an open mind as he may have been rebailed!!! So now we wait...............................!!! How are you - how is your son doing??

Fingers crossed your sons gets his nfa, please keep us updated. My son has good and bad days but seems to be holding up well all things considered. Must admit I am struggling, still have to wait 3 months until the next bail date. Sometimes feel that this nightmare will never end, 5 months in and haven't heard a thing
