if he's eligible for legal aid then I would go for Marky Newby http://www.qualitysolicitors.com/jor...ple/mark-newby every time, if you are in the NW or NE area. He uses Mark Barlow the barrister. Although he shows as being at Garden court north that has recently changed, I believe. Together as a team they are formidable and they both do legal aid.

I assume you are in the NW - ish as that is where Stuart Sutton is based. He didn't have a very good rep the last time I heard about him, although that might have changed.

If you are seriously considering going private I would suggest you ring Chris Saltrese 01704 535512 - his costs come with a QC or senior barrister. Members in these forums have used him.

Been extremely busy had a meeting with Mark Newby and he has suggested the following 2 Barrister Brigid Baillie or Mark Barlow.

Anyway one of the FA has attempted to get in touch with my step daughter. The FA tried to add her on FB but was immediately blocked.

Mark Barlow would be the guy I would go for if you have a choice, although I have heard some good things about Brigid too.

Rather than block the accuser why not just have her unblocked, but so she can watch her online? You never know there might be something very helpful on there.....

Does inconsistencies FB messages of what they have said in the past and money being mentioned help matters?

Some accusers (sorry - most accusers!) will create a false impression. You have a right to correct that false impression. So if for instance the accuser says:

"since the abuse I've been a nun, am terrified of men and never go out" and you find evidence showing her at a male strip show with her face in his groin, that would certainly "correct the false impression the complainant has created".

Re money - depends on how it is mentioned. Context is important.... if they are talking about "coming into money soon - hurray" "expecting a massive windfall lol" "Yayyy we'll be winning the lottery soon" can help!

So say if the FA says that he was scared of my Father say in 1970 but the FA Kept giving christmas and cards and thanking him and asking for extra tuition in Geography and History Lessons does that help

I suppose it could but you need to think as to what the other side would make of that. They would ask the complainant about that who would then say "I wanted to keep things normal and I needed him to help me with extra tuition".

Don't give the police this evidence, of course.....

Of Course I will not give anyone apart from Solicitor / Barrister.......FA have mentioned it though when interviewed they tried to keep away from my Father...........but it was the otherway round Father could not give extra tuition.....and rejected this
