what's an ALC/AAC/ACL or similar ?

When my OH was in his voluntary interview the other day, just as it was about to end, the OIC passed over a piece of paper, (obviously designed to faze my OH weary) and the solicitor said - just a minute - I wasn't shown that piece of paper before - this is the first time I have seen it. And the OIC said something like "oh this is an ALC/ACL..." and proceeded to show it to my OH. He was fine answering questions about it but when he came back he couldn't remember the exact abbbreviation. What might it be? If it helps, a couple of decades ago the same complainant made the same allegation, which ended up as NFA, and infuriatingly the police say they don't have any of the original records (so he's going through this again)

Does OH remember how he answered? If he does that might give a clue as to what it is about.
