Hi guys,
It's been close to a year now since the police contacted me about the FA. My solicitor (and Partner in a firm) has suggested that we should make a formal complaint as he knows other cases that have been over quicker. He says that it's totally unfair that both mine and my FA's lives have been put on hold for so long and that the police have an obligation to investigate this in a timely manner.
The file went from one police force to another to "purely comply with the geographical location of the offence and the court."
My question is, given I have a solicitor and should this go to charge be representing me, would you allow him to submit the formal complaint? I'm in two minds, I don't want to p*%s anyone off, yet I want this to be over sooner.
Any advice would be greatly received!!
