Quick update. Have just spoken to my case solicitor's PA, who has spoken to the Policeman in charge of my case because I have to present for bail in a number of days. The case 'investigation wise' has been completed (in just under three weeks) and the Policeman in charge has passed it onto a senior office for a decision on whether to progress the case or not. I've had no further contact with the police while on bail. I know this is a stab in the dark but from people's experience what is your opinion: is this good or bad??

As a background, the claims against me are completely false, involving violence and clear inaccuracies in the claimant's statement that would clearly show up due to physical and forensic evidence. From the start the solicitor has been adamant, there won't be enough evidence to progress the investigation due lack of evidence.

I'm afraid I can't answer your question mate, but I just wanted to say good luck, and I hope it goes your way!
