Thanks for all the good messages! Regarding the question about the CPS -- I'm not sure. The investigative part of the case was wound up in around two weeks and passed to a more senior police officer who made final decision in under three weeks. I was given no further details by the policeman who just said to keep away from the claimant and just be careful.

Being perfectly honest she had fabricated such a bag of lies the evidence was all stacked in my favour.

Don't want to be too specific but basically there had been violence involved and other stuff.
