Have police ever checked on bail conditions?

Hi everyone,hope you all had a "good" Christmas? Difficult I know.
I was just wondering if anyone has had the police check they are at their bail address?
We,'re coming up to 7 months on bail now,not once have there been any checks on wether my OH is actually sleeping there.
He is obviously,but it seems a strange situation.

They could be checking by driving past to see if his car is there, or they've seen him walk in. they don't always come a-knocking

Thanks RF,he's staying in the home of an ex copper and across the road from a current dci. Probably just getting him to look out the window!!😏😏

Yes they do check- especially when the FA's carry on telling stories!!

Thanks Amanda,it just seems a crazy system to me. What if my OH didn't have a car? The whole bail without charge system seems to . Take so long and restrict our lives with no end in sight.
If they're safeguarding my child,why aren't they checking,why haven't they asked her if anything has happened to her by my OH?
