Hello and feeling so lost

Welcome to the forum - but sorry that you're in this situation.

It does come a surprise to be charged so quickly. It is very difficult being thrown in to this unexpected environment. My partner was FA'd - it was a total shock and very hard to lead a life by not being consumed in it all. Try to focus on other things and stay strong - I know that can feel impossible sometimes but you will get through this day by day. Try not to dwell on things and stay positive.

Were there any witnesses of the alleged complaint?

There is no sense in the justice process it appears

Your case sounds so flimsy , it suggests the cps are just flinging everything through the courts for the sake of it.....

Try it to let it consume you ... It's hard but IF it gets to trial, I suspect a jury would see right through this

Yes it took ages for the CPS to decide - it was back and forwards for many hours.

Her statement was different to his, yet his was probably more damning but can't be used as evidence as she didn't put it in her statement.

We won't be able to read the statements until January which is so frustrating. We have great character witnesses coming out of our ears thankfully but nonetheless feel helpless at the mo.

So pleased to have found this site.....sort of
