Should my Solicitor attend?

Hi everyone,no major news I'm afraid. Our duty sol spoke to the cps about 10 days ago and they said they hadn't even picked up the file.
OH answering bail on weds,if the cps has looked at file by then,if they decide to charge should the sol be there?

I believe that if a charge is forthcoming the OIC will notify the solicitor in advance.

Thanks caseharden, solicitor phoned this morning,re bail till new year. He's complained to the cps so fingers crossed they might move a bit quicker.
Would love to have him home for Xmas.
