So sorry for what your going through. My partner's trial is due to end 7 days before Christmas and so I can totally understand where you're coming from. I don't even know whether I should act normal and buy gifts etc as he may not be here to celebrate.
The only thing I can say is stay as strong as you can. These hurdles are just bumps in the road. Im hoping for a smooth life path after this
I personally found the waiting the hardest part. Now that the trial is almost here I just want it to be here so we can know either way. But you'll have good days and bad days. Surround yourself with positive supportive people and try and keep busy so you can "forget" as much as possible.
