How much contact should we be having with the sol considering the teial is not so far away.
Have a look at the section for recommended solicitors on this forum.
It will give you an idea of other people's experiences.
Generally the best solicitors are ones with experience in these types of allegations.
My OH hasn't been charged (yet) so I can't go on any personal experience, and it would depend where you are based, so have a look and see.
I'm no expert in legal matters I'm afraid.
I'm just another family member affected by FAs and trying to keep sane!!
Best of luck to you all.
    Keep positives!

Hmmmm. You need to know what is going on. If one of the witnesses is for character only maybe they could ask the solicitor what is going on "on a need to know basis". You aren't asking to have sight of the evidence, just for advice on what is happening and what will happen.

The only witnesses there asking for atm are whoever was living in the house at the time..so family members really. They sol is saying that they would only require character witnesses if its not looking good in court...as a last resort. Thanks for the reply RF 👍

That isn't a helpful reply by your sols. So if they use character witnesses you're going to be sat there thinking"oh ye gods it's not going well".

Sounds like laziness to me. It doesn't hurt for two or three character witnesses to come up and say a few words. As I said before, if nobody stands up for him character-wise, the jury could be left thinking that he has no support aka they don't believe him.

This is exactly what I mean, I dont have a clue if honest but I understand what you mean...only a few more weeks to the trial..im so unsure about the defence team...ive mey the sol who seems in the ball..the para legal is usless and never met the barrister only my sister. Ive aksed for wverything to be run past me as they know my sister does ott understand whats going on. But most issues arnt disscussed with me. Ive aksed to speak with the barrister but still nothing. I had mentioned that maybe we should be putting together a timeline..that was last year...but still havent a clue when and if we should be doing ine. Were just feeling lushed to one side.
