You have come this far and you can reach the end. I understand where you are I have been through a trial with my partner and have a re trial coming up in the next couple of weeks, it is very scary and you try to be strong for everyone else. By the end of the week it should all be over and hopefully you will be able to celebrate and get on with your lives.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and keeping everything crossed for you xx

Ok, been sitting here thinking as always and thought id share this.

Someone i know (police) gave us some valuable advise and its only right to share it. They said when on the stand and being questioned if ever you are asked "is it possible.........." the answer should always be i dont know. Apparently it is a tatic to lead you down a path. "If this is possible then THAT is possible" etc etc and thats how you get caught out.

The cross examine today said something similar and the judge jumped in luckily and asked the question in a different way and clearer and told the prosecution off! But if they can do it ghey will!

I hope that helps anyone out there facing trial and I hope it makes sense. Your legal team can't prep you for trial but there's no harm in us sharing stories.

At my interview the OIC asked me "Is it possible you didn't hear her?"...(say no)

I said no as her mouth was right next to my ear I would've heard it and it was one of the few times I saw him break into a grin. I was later told this is a trap as they would use a "yes" answer to be a sign of trying to get off the hook. Valuable advice BB.

All the best for tomorrow. Hope it goes well!

the summery from both council done and judge just needs to finish his summing up in the morning then the jury go away and decide.

We are very confident that 2 counts will be found not guilty but one of the charges is iffy on. We have done all we can i cant imagine being separated from my man, if he had done it i would stick by him but not care if he went inside as that would be his punishment but knowing full well that he did not do anything i feel sick about tomorrow but just 1 more day.

tell me i can do this!
You can do this! Stay strong. One more day to get through.

Was it a quick decision, in and out for the jury?

It took the jury about 2 hours to come back with the decision. When they said not guilty to the first count i knew they couldnt say anything different for the other two counts as those charges were worse. I burst into tears! Longest 15 months of our lives!
