Please is there anyone out there who can give me and my family advise...we run a pub in a small village and my son has been accused by the parents of one of the village girls of raping her she is 13 my son is 22. The girls mother turned up to she me to say her daughter had been raped, i was so upset for her but then she pointed out that the rapist was supposingly my son, my first reaction was i,ll kill him, my second was he just wouldnt do it, the mother was so convincing with what her daughter had said I found myself starting to doubt my son. He was staying at his girlfriends so I rang him and asked for an explanation, he was stunned, he was gutted i felt guilty for doubting him but having a daughter also i thought how i would react if my daughter had come home and told me shed been raped . The family concerned have not been in contact with us since, my son wants to go to the police, we just dont know what to do, my daughter has had a conversation with the girl concerned and she told my daughter he didnt rape her, but she is carrying the story on with her family and friends. She is such a quiet girl and this seems completely out of her nature....my family especially my son are like zombies not knowing what to do for the best, althought my son was seen by the people in the pub on the night it is suppose to have happened someone has told me that if you are accused they arrest you and basically tough....please please can anyone give us some advise
