Well I've found the site extremely useful for myself. It's helped me to find out a few things, given me an insight into other people's problems, been an outlet for a bit of a rant if I need it, and I have received some really wonderful Private Messages.
It depends what you're looking for.
What kind of help had you in mind?

        Hi jittery

I believe Thinking is referring to falsely accused founded by Stephen Cooper, rather than this forum. I personally was not impressed and I am very glad that we decided to use Chris Saltrese who did an excellent job defending my husband.

To read further discussion just use the search engine at the top right of the page re Mr Cooper. Mr Cooper is not a solicitor, he is a middle man.

We have a section on the forum where users give recommendations for defence teams they have used which may be helpful.http://www.daftmoo.org.uk/mooforum/s...ist-solicitors
The truth is like a lion. You don't have to defend it. Let it loose. It will defend itself.

There are lots of sites that provide support and information for those who are falsely accused of sexual offences. Obviously there is this one!

          Plus www.factuk.org

          http://www.false-allegations.org.uk/

          And www.pafaa.org.uk/wordpress

Hi Frightened spouse, thanks for that, I see Chris's name appearing regularly, as long as text messages from my phone can be retrieved I should be ok, but if I get into trouble I may call him! Your husband was cleared then?

I've had emails from certain solicitors who say that the potential client has been referred "from the falsely accused website" and when I've made enquiries, they are actually referring to this site, FASO, FACT or PAFAA.

All three groups work together, share information and direct people to whichever group will suit the particular person. Some prefer telephone assistance so:

FASO is the best one for that, and they will also attend trials and visit families and do whatever else they can,

FACT is fab for carers and teachers who have been falsely accused and will offer telephone advice, they have a research department and a lot more besides

and most of PAFAA's work is mainly internet based although more active with pre trial and appeal work due to the amount of information on the PAFAA forums, and the work I do personally.

.....so sometimes when people refer to "the falsely accused site" they often mean one of the above, and this one. None of us are associated with the other one
