  • help needed please

    Hey all,
I hope someone can someone can help.
My father has falsely accused of sexually abusing his 5 year old son by his ex girlfriend who has a long history of lying. He was arrested and let out on bail. He lives in England and I live in Ireland, I can't be with him as I have 4 young children to look after. He has very poor writing skills. Is there any sort of support our there for him, he needs help with filling out forms and some sort of support group. Can anyone help?

    Hi Thaila

We have "spoken" via Facebook. The evidence of previous lies (although not false allegations of SA) may well be helpful.

Maybe you could help your dad with some sort of day to day journal that starts now, whereby whenever he thinks of something 'in the past' that relates to the current allegations, to jot this down. I appreciate that there are difficulties there but they are not insurmountable.

If these thoughts are written down when thought of, eventually a pattern will form that will put part of the jigsaw together.

If the accuser and her cohorts are on Facebook, it might be a good idea to monitor their profiles - if they are publicly viewable - and take screenshots. Anything relating to "coming into money" soon may assist.

Also if there are photos of her having a wonderful time, out with friends and boyfriends, get those screenshot too. You may not be able to use them (should there be a charge) but sometimes they can be helpful when the complainant "creates a false impression" for instance, "I am too scared to leave the house and I can't have a social life due to the trauma.... etc etc" then you can correct that false impression.

Under no circumstances should you be tempted to make direct contact with the complainant and/or her cohorts.

Maybe a moderator will move this thread to the relevant part of the forums?

        Thanks
