hello all
sorry i havent posted in a while but ive had alot on my mind such as sleepless nights caring for my nan and worrying about magistrates court on friday.
ok on friday i get to see the paperwork ive waited for so long eg her side of things etc etc
i went out and got myself a suit very nice one so i look respectable
i plan on keeping you updated as things progress
i hope you all remember me from my welcome thread
i look forward to hearing from you all as the stress of all of this is really taking its toll

Dont worry too much about magistrates court. It wont be very spectacular as they will probably decide to pass the matter on to crown court.

evening all just a quick update i went to magistrates on the 3rd to find out they didnt have the papers that i so desperatly wanted and they also gave me a date of the 17th of this month for the crown court administrative hearing so only a week away till hopefully i get my hands on the papers im staying positive the best i can looking at things i can do in the future once all this is over anyway thats my update for now

evening all just a quick update i have the first of the crown court hearings tomorrow not looking forward to it but oh well hopefully i get the papers that i need to get the ball rolling but we shall see anyway im off to watch some youtube but i will be online how is every one coping

afternoon all

so i attended the crown court and found out i was on the late morning slot....
anyway the outcome of the hearing is as follows

14/12/2014 - prosecution have until this date to give the papers to my sols
16/1/2015 - plea hearing
30/3/2015 start of trial if it goes that far

i will be having a 3 day trial according to the court barrister which begins on the above date. i wouldn't mind but it has already been 7/8 months and i just want it to be all over with this will be over a year since the accusation was made. i'm not being funny but this is ridiculous i haven't been out much sort of locked myself in my home im depressed not suicidal but it could happen. i have a telephone appointment with a counsillor (not sure how to spell it) on the 31/10 so i even have a waiting game with them although im not sure what im going to say to him/her. my family are still 100 percent behind me which is good.

im wanting to know one thing when would it be possible for me to get my items that the police taken back. they have charged me so what more use do they need for it. any advice would be appreciated.

I think you will find that they have to keep certain items in case they need to use them as evidence. If they do not intend to do that ask your solicitor to contact the police to request that they return them.

The waiting is the worst.

Sounds like material evidence. Your defence team should have been given the forensic reports on all items, or should do soon.

Be prepared that they may not be ready. They rarely are.... they like to catch the defence on the hop so as to meet and maintain Government set rape conviction targets...
