Update

Well it's coming up a year of living through this nightmare !! So thought I'd update you all on where I am currently at.

I have had the full statement from this girl safe to say I met a absolute nutter the night in question she's disclosed that she is an ex escort who has accused three other poor soles of the same thing I'm number 4.

The pressure this has put on my family has been overwhelming I haven't spoken with my parents for over two months since we had a failing out over money as he was paying for a private solicitor I have now gone to legal aid but managed to keep the same barrister which is a comfort.

I'm due to enter my not guilty plea next week I always get jumpy when court dates get close. But am used to being treated as a criminal now by our justice system, so I'll update you all on that once that's done I'm then facing a trial in February 2016 that's 18 months of hell before my name is cleared or the worst happens.

Have a moral dilemma as well I have met a wonderful caring most beautiful girl was not expecting or looking at all but over the last few months have fallen head over heels with her, so has been so honest with me about her life hopes and fears she has asked me several times if I'm being 100% honest with her and I'm not I'm just so scared that if I tell her about what I'm going through she'll leave me !!! Suppose that's one for me to work out.

Were the others convicted? If not then there's a possible abuse of process argument with regards to failing to investigate and consider previous unproved allegations.

To the best of my knowledge she withdrew the complaint early stages against two of them and the other one was in 2006 with no conviction he was NFA'd just my luck I get charged 😥

Hopefully the solicitor will request the details to all of those cases, especially those that she withdrew.

Many thanks for the positive vibes really not looking forward to entering the plea get nervous just thinking about it I know I've done nothing wrong but it's going the accused is absolutely terrifying !!

I had a chat with the beautiful lady I mentioned didn't want to carry this around on my shoulders felt like I was lying to her. She's decided she wants out of such a situation which I can't blame her for very sad though the impact this allegation even a year later is destroying my life you simply can't move on you can't plan anything !!!

Getting far to used to people leaving me by now though which is I suppose the saddest thing of all

I am confident in the fact I have done absolutely nothing wrong I have managed to keep my barrister in place! Legal aid sol seems good so all I can do if I trust my faith in her.

Good Luck to you, stay calm...three deep breaths.

My biggest advice during this process, is to provide the barrister and solicitor with as much information as possible. Always make sure your prepared.. dont assume solicitors and barrister will be ready for trial. The amount of administrative work I did was crazy...

Just heard from my solicitor I am being re-interviewed next week (my bail date) my FA s blood and urine tests are back ...unsure what that will prove as I met her on a night out so drink was drunk ? Anyway my solicitor says I am more than likely going to be re-bailed to give the CPS more time ? Unsure if this is a good or bad thing or indifferent.

One question I do have my solicitor says she will speak with the OIC before my interview to gain any disclosures ....what does that mean?

They are calling you back due to the results from the forensics it seems. None of us on here can know what the results are of course so we cannot say what information from you that you give in interview, may help or not help their case.

Before you go into interview the solicitor will want to know what they intend to question you about, so she will ask for the "disclosures" or copies, which might be the medical forensic report.

Good evening all was aware I had not posted in awhile so thought id update. My trail date has been set for the beggining of feb 2016 which feels me with relief and dread all at once. I recieved yesterday the disclosure document via my sol 42 pages of lies and how the poor 'vitim' has accussed three others and is now in a relationship with a women has a history of depression and worked as an ex call girl (classy i know) ive also watched the ABE`s both of them full of her saying i dont know i cant remember crying on cue and saying she hasnt really given it much thought !! I have since its cost me my life being banned from my son loosing my career my home but she hasnt given it much thought !!! Altho she as the victim has lapped up all the councilling and vitctim suport workers she can ive even got a blow by blow accoung her her support worker and hers texts !! Interesting in one she states she may have got it wrong and just worked her self up?? All crazy !!

Anyway hope your all hanging on in there seems like a different life ago now i had money house car my son a relationship with friends and a girfriend become used to being skint being fired moving from one address to another every 4/5 weeks dont need to tell you how this effects you all your living it with me i know
