Advice of specialist solicitor please.

Hi,

This is my first post and having read the numerous posts about men having false allegations of rape made against them I am really worried for my son. My son has not been arrested and presented himself at a police station with a solicitor to make a statement and to hear the allegation made against him.
The majority of her statement is completely untrue and many points are unstable - but it seems that this often makes little difference. My son has not been charged and the business of getting witness statements is likely to take some time. Does anyone know of a specialist lawyer in east Devon? Exeter area or Taunton please. Thank you in hope of a reply.

Thank you for replying - I have looked through the posts and there seems to be only one mention of a Bristol solicitor. My son has spoken to the office of Chris Saltrese as they seem to be the top of the tree, to ask if they could recommend anyone closer, sadly no. Will keep searching - what a nightmare this is, how incredible that it should be so easy to destroy somebody's life - hopefully it will be resolved in time and maybe will be thrown out, but we cannot bank on that.
