Hi,
Just read what you have put. Has he spoken to his union about this? Also what your son has or has not done should not have a bearing on your husbands job. Surely the police have over stepped the mark. Not sure what they have done is legal or illegal. I am sure someone will advise you on here. I am just puzzled by what the police have done. Speak to your sons solicitor about this.

Hi ghost thanks for the reply what they are saying anyone that is charged cannot live in the same house as someone that works with children im sure this cannot be right we are waiting for a call back from our legal team.
Just spoke to the dective who is dealing with the case she said it has not come from them but ofstead have proof it has, also cps have made a decision if they are going to charge him or not but can not tell us just yet its been checked by 1 solicitor and now needs to be checked by a 2nd one before they can tell us and we should know a few days before his bail hearing on 20th in the mean time we have had our vehicals attacked again with eggs and another walk by from the ex

Hi,
Its shocking but any proof the police did what they did by compromising your husbands job should be given to your legal team. Also any incidents at your house regarding eggs etc. should be reported to the police and mentioned to your legal team. Sorry I cannot be of further help.

Hi Smokie Jo sorry to hear the latest developments, these fa's have such a damaging ripple effect touching areas of your life that you never imagined they could.
IF (and it hasn't happened yet) your son is charged any reputable solicitor experienced in fa's should be able to challenge the ridiculous idea that your husband's job should in anyway be affected by this. There is no consistency in approach to these cases, the police take appalling liberties and often lie to us about what they have and haven't done. They are shameless as they know they are very unlikely to be held to account.
I agree with GB that your husband's union should also be able to help, as they will be familiar with the sad reality of frequent FA's.
Take care

Hi Smokie Jo .... this is outrageous, your son hasn't even been charged yet. As GB has said .. get him to go to his Union. If there's no joy there, his MP. Your boy hasn't even been charged yet! What do they expect from you and your husband... for you to put a minor out on the streets 3 weeks before Christmas???
Utterly disgraceful! For all you know the copper concerned is an ex-pupil of his trying to get revenge.
(sorry about the rant, it's got me fuming)
Keep strong

That is dreadful - so now plod is saying that anyone who lives with someone who has just an allegation against them are therefore guilty by association - when in fact no-one is guilty at all. I'm assuming your husband is a member of NAHT or similar who should be able to advise him on this.

Time to talk to his union (god never thought i'd say that) then maybe time to get his MP and then the press involved.
And most definitely time to report the police for misconduct, no hang on, wait til any legal stuff is over then do that. b*stards.Still here

what does his union say?? he must seek their advice - keep strong for the bail date - prepare for the worst outcome and be relieved if it doesn't happen - easier to do it this way than the other..."Only love can light the mirror of your soul" - Chris de Burgh

Sending you hugs and hoping you get the same answer as I did with my son.
I also agree with the others the police are not to be trusted and ofsted is also way out of line on this your husbands job has nothing to do with what's happening.
