    Hi Guys..

Seem to be posting more and more..

I have to go in and answer bail Monday and as you know I was left a voicemail saying there is going to be a charge laid upon me..

The OIC are on hols and are not back until that day.. my solicitor is in trial in the morning and is trying to see if they can somehow change the time I have to go in so he can be there.. but its hard for him to do if there is no one there that can help him..

However if he cant make it, he told me to go in and listen to the charge and go through the motions... when I come out just give him a call and we can book an appointment.

I really don't like the idea of that.. I feel quite vulnerable and it would be nice to have someone on my side with me during this process..

I thought a solicitor could argue the charges brought against me at the station?

*Sighs*... I don't know what to do.. should I look for another solicitor...

I like the one I found...

    help...eeek!
    What do you guys think?

Gerry is supposed to be very good , perhaps ask for a duty solicitor on the day ? ask Gerry about this , the thing as i understand it with charges is that the CPS have made the decision , the police are just charging you and putting you on course for Magistrates court , where your solicitor or a representative will be there for you at the magistrates court , my solicitor hired a solicitor for my Magistrate visits , my guess based on my past experience is that magistrates courts are a waste of time , all they will do is take your plea (not guilty etc) then push you upwards towards the crown court , where dates for trail will be set , but at least you will be given a copy of the evidence.

But if you do go on your own to the station , my opinion would be , do not talk to police about the case ,do not give them any extra information , hints , clues etc, nothing , no comments at all .... seriously.

If you was fancying a change of solicitor and you are paying your own legal expense then Chris Saltrese is also a exceptional choice , but based on what your solicitor has said, hes doing the right thing really , but i understand why you would feel vulnerable.

      Hi.

If you feel confident about your solicitor you may stay with him.

When you will go to the police station you will have nothing to do only sign the charge they will read.
(It is exactly like a bail date).
Unfortunately I am not even sure a solicitor would have been able to argue as he wouldn't be already in possession of the final disclosure.

Please remain calm and you won't have to say anything.
      Take care.
