An awful wait for you. Can you ask your sol to contact them and see if s/he can find out any more.......
    lots of for you ....MH
PS - why do you think you will have to sell your house?
    Hi guys

    Thanks for the support.

I got in from work and basically crashed on the bed and fell asleep, the wife pretty much did the same. Bad thing is I'm awake at 1.20am.... I have work at 8.

The solicitor is going to find out some more hopefully tomorrow.. So wait and see....

It's going to be a struggle to get through the weekend.. But it's something I got to do.

I'm going to wait till Monday before telling work... It would be nice if I didn't get the chop...

    So mentally tired...

I'm going to go try get some sleep. I'll keep you all updated.

    Big love

Oh just saw ur ps my home ...

Well these allegations arose just as we moved to a bigger home ready to start a family..

So bills are more, mortgage is more etc...if I lost my job, my wife couldn't afford everything on her own, with court fees etc...

I have some savings which will get me through maj,s most likely..

but i will need the house money ... for crown, if the charge deems worthy of it. Which it most probably will do.

I know you can get legal aid..but I doubt I will get much I earn just under 50k a year. Though I may not have a job at that point.. Who knows...

      One step at a time...

thanks for explaining this - but as you say - one step at a time - as your explanation is full of "ifs"... We always say, "prepare for the worst and when it doesn't happen it's a bonus!" Try not too look too far ahead - easy to say - hard to do I know....keep strong....

Hi and Welcome and really sorry you find yourself on the wrong side of this disgracfull system. Like you, when this happened to me I thought the worse but I attended Magistrates court for the plea and case managment hearing and twice to Crown Court and my name never even appeard in the "in the courts section" of our local paper. I was suspended from work on full pay for nearly a year and returned to my old Job and although every one knew why I was suspended I recieved a fantastic reception when I returned. As for friends and family. this is when you will find out who your friends really are.

Remember that from this point forward you can not trust the police as both them and the CPS do not care about the truth, justice or right from wrong so watch your back. Take solace in the fact that Judges do seem to be sick to death of having these ridiculas cases put in front of them and will give the CPS a hard time.

Take Care of yourself and stay strong for your family.

              God Bless.

                Hi Barney

Thank you for sharing that.. I hope I am as "lucky" as you were with regards to your name not being in the paper... as mud really does stick.. where you from a small town, I am in a fairly big town and generally things like this appear in there.. I just hope not front page..?

Funny enough I contacted ACAS yesterday regarding my situation and what would my employee rights would be.. I have been with my company longer then 2 years so I have full rights which means unless my staff handbook or contract says other wise they should suspend me on full pay until the matter is dealt with. What will be interesting.. is the company is very high profile in my area and I am quite senior for what I do.. so I don't know if they will try and compromise me out.. also.. I am have niche knowledge in my area that would take some time to transfer to another member of staff...

Apparently I can sign my self off with stress to.. though I don't want to.. as I have no intention in sitting in my house doing nothing..

I was also surprised to know that the company cannot dismiss me with out paying me my three months notice also..positive..

Stupid things like this really help the mind focus on the "Important matters" and not financials...

I would be happy to type up my notes from acas and if someone wants to put it as a sticky for others?

                .....

I live in huge city but found the local reporters were more intersted in larger cases and due to the size of the city there were plenty of other people to concentrate on. I would strongly advise against the sick route with your employer as employment legislation is on your side as you have done nothing wrong. I work in one of the UK's largest companies in a senior managment role so understand what you are saying.

This really will be a roller coaster with some days being worse than others, consentrating on rebuilding your life will help so stay strong.

                  Take Care
