    Update on things

I have been in touch with my solicitor again, and he stil says It's a good idea to try and speak to the OIC.

However I have tried for a week now, everyday sometimes 4 times a day, but i am always told OIC is out of the office, or in court.... I feel like i'm being played by plod.

Statement has ben withdrawn, and refuses to go to court or give any further information / details to plod.

What are they doing (Or trying to do)? Any advice on what else i can try?

I want this to all be over, it's been a little over 5 Weeks since I was arrested and bailed and 2 weeks since statement withdrawn. I've lost nearly 2 stone, hardly sleep, still have nightmares.

worst of all i had to endure my 1st wedding anniversary on my own with only the thoughts of all of this to stir my already confused and mesed up world.

Sorry for being all over the place and random, my head is a mess.

It may simply be that he hasn't heard from the CPS so can't give you an answer and finds it easier to be 'not available' rather than spend 5 minutes on the phone with nothing positive to tell you.

Obviously this is no help to you but 5 weeks is a short time compared to other members experiences

Sorry about the milestone of the wedding anniversary but surely you're not considering going back to her; every time there is an argument you could be lighting the fuse again.....the police will investigate any future allegations despite this one being withdrawn.

This is good advice and clearly demonstrates the difficulties that those falsely accused have to consider. Has she withdrawn in the hope you will reconcile?

          Been a really tough week

Hey everyone, just wanted to check in..... Still no news or any further info. Answer bail in under 2 weeks now, so starting to worry even more (If thats posible).

If i'm honest i don't know her reason's for with drawing her statement, but i have heard through other people she is now saying she wil fight for me should this still go to trail (Completely confused)

I'm still unable to sleep, eat or function properly. My Dr says he can't help me anymore than he is as i have been on everything he has to offer this past year or so and nothing worked like it should, so feel like it's all harder than it could be.

Here's hoping some of you have had better news

            Hi Pudsey

Totally commiserate with the fear and anxiety you are experiencing as your bail date approaches it is an appalling experience. We were supposed to find out this week which direction my husband's FA was heading but that has been postponed until next week. The lack of regard for the suffering of the FA and their families is shocking, police and ss take professional detachment to levels I had never imagined were possible.

The fact your wife has said she doesn't want to proceed is surely a good thing, but I realise it is not as straight forward as it might seem and as you are not allowed contact and will only get information second hand this must add to the confusion.

            Take care
