That's the great thing about this site.

I finally understand that the Police are trying to place me at the girl's house by saying I had a unique type of food from a takeawy that I passed. Hence, by saying they found the unique type of food places me at the scene.

It's a bit far fetched isn't it? Then taking a picture of you on ANOTHER route to where it happened and putting it under the guy in the kebab shop's nose and saying 'Did this guy buy a kebab here?' ... all a bit dodgey!

The accusations are awful, an afront to most people's sense of morality and decency and the endless waiting to know scrarey and inhumane... but, at the end of the day, they need hard evidence to convict.

The fact is im allegic to that type of food so that isnt true or fact.[/QUO

That's the best news I've heard today!

Hi, yes that is the plan. Worrying still is that they came round my house 2 months later and took brand new jewellery [they dont know its new] coz they are gonna try and say I was wearing on that nite or worse they may say it was found at the scene.

I'd be tempted to write to the police station (giving the date and circumstances when they removed the jewellery from your place)to ask if you can have it back and if not, could they provide you with a receipt for it.

Loads of stuff the police confiscate remains unclaimed - You want proof it was taken and and to know when it will be returned to you - in writing.

indeed - but don't mention when it was bought - keep that information to yourself.

            Hi all

yes I do have the receipts safe and sound.

I need some advice. I was made redundant at work and this bail thing is all bewildering.

Ive almost completed my notes, telephone records, bank statement, receipts, etc etc etc. I cant do any more other than wait - right?

Do I just try and get on with my life and wait to see what happens or do I get a solicitor to write to the police.

Am I at the mercy of the bail?

I know I am not a rapist and I know I would not attempt to rape anyone. There is no evidence of any sexual act and no dna. It seems the female has said she has a small cut that she was attacked.

Am I being naive in that would the police encourage the female to ID me hence 2 months later I was told she picked me out.

I am receiving strong support and that the bail is to wear me down.

Hi Rik, Have you got a solicitor? If not you should get in touch with a solicitor who specialises in false allegations - there is a thread on here 'specialist solicitors' .
Have a look to see if there is one recommended in your area. If there isn't , if you post the general aea you live in , someone may be able to recommend one.

I can't stress enough how important it is to have someone who specialises in false allegations to defend you.

Since you're not working at the moment, you should be entitled to legal aid . The first contact will probably be free anyway.

Then , get on with your life!

hi Rik - the general advice seems to be that if you have evidence that will help your defence, don't give it to the police until you need to. If you give it to them too soon, they will go back to the FA with it and she will change her statement to fit, which unbelievably she is allowed to do
In any case, don't do anything without talking to your solicitor....

Hi all thank you very much.

Wow I DID NOT know that she could alter her statement!!!!!!! I already thought it was strange that I was read her statements months later.

No wonder she said I was wearing the clothes that I mentioned in the first interview - yet other witnesses have tried to use old pictures from my camera but described the wrong clothes. So no wonder the police took the jewellery to say I was wearing it too!

                  OMG ive been soo naive!!!!!!

Well I will now keep everything else under raps.

I have found a very strong criminal lawyer and if that doesnt work out I will come back here to get some advice.
